OSSTF/DSBN Excellence in Education Awards

At the DSBN Tech Banquet each school year a student from each DSBN Secondary School is awarded with a OSSTF/DSBN Certificate of Excellence, a monetary bursary and an Amazon gift certificate for their outstanding achievements throught their high school years. 

The student is...
- one who achieves high academic standards
- one who contributes significantly to various extra-curricular school activities
- one who is a leader among their peers and is a positive role model
- one who gives themself for the good of the whole school community through voluntary community services
- one who has achieved personal excellence through distinguished effort in an area outside of school.

OSSTF District 22 Niagara Peter Kormos Memorial Scholarship - Social Justice & Activism Award

The recipient is a deserving student who has demonstrated leadership and has contributed to further social justice in their school and/or community. They will be pursuing post-secondary education immediately after graduating.
